Japanese automakers have recently been revealed the redesigned 2013 Mazda CX-9 ahead of its global debut at the 2012 Australian Auto Show to be held in mid-October, on October 18 to 28. Mazda has made a different strategy in introducing the new CX-9 crossover, and they don’t take a place in the Paris Auto Show for their brand the new CX-9.
The redesigned Mazda CX-9, however, not going along with his brother “2014 Mazda6 Wagon” which will make its official debut in Paris. The 2013 Mazda CX-9 has been getting changes through redesign and refreshing as well as very similar to his brother the 2014 Mazda6. To be sure, Mazda has given the luxury touch from the Mazda6 design language “Kodo – Soul of Motion” to the new CX-9 crossover.
In addition, other changes came along with sharper headlight design, LED daytime running lights, headlamp clusters and a more aggressive lines design on the front end of the vehicle. Under the hood, the 2013 Mazda CX-9 crossover will be fully powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and can spew 273 horsepower.
While the 3.7-liter engine will most likely come with two different configurations, all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive. Not only that, the refreshed 2013 Mazda CX-9 also offers several security features such as, high-beam control, forward obstruction warning and lane departure warning system.
Speaking about the launch dates, the 2013 Mazda CX-9 Release Date will be closer to the end of this year and the vehicle will go on sale in U.S. dealerships late this fall. Unfortunately, the Hiroshima-based automaker hasn’t announced official pricing details for the new CX-9 crossover, and expects it revealed at the 2012 Australian Auto Show.
A spokesman for Mazda North America said, “The 2013 models will go on sale late this fall in the U.S. and no pricing to be announced at this time, we will announce closer to launch,” said Jeremy Barnes. Look for the official pricing details and other information when the new 2013 Mazda CX-9 crossover has been released.
