2013 Fiat Panda 4×4 Release Date & Preview


The 2013 Fiat Panda 4×4 will make its official debut next month as a four-wheel drive model in A-segment at the 2012 Paris Auto Show.

While the Italian automakers called “Super Panda” who claimed to be able to handle the mountain mule tracks and the urban jungle with the same cold.

The new five-door hatchback comes with a completely redesigned and is ready to share a driving experience with you in handling various types of mountain tracks and urban forests.

Fiat automaker offers two models options in the new Panda lineup, Trekking and Natural Power models. Especially for Trekking models, the 2013 Fiat Panda 4×4 will be hitting the road with a new 1.3-liter MultiJet II diesel engine capable of spewing out 75 horsepower and torque has increased by 30 percent.

While the Natural Power models will come with a new 0.9-liter TwinAir Turbo engine is capable of delivering 85 horsepower but it can run on gasoline and methane as a vehicle fuel.

Both will replace the old 1.2-liter engine is offered on the previous model which only provides 68 horsepower and 75 lb-ft of torque.

The 2013 Fiat Panda 4×4 benefit from the Electronic Locking Differential System that works to reduce spin on all four wheels of the vehicle. All engines will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission with electronically-controlled coupling that implement low-range first gear.

Meanwhile, the Trekking models will come with front-wheel drive configuration and powered by Fiat’s Traction system that works at the behest of electronic stability control programming.

In addition, all new engines will be powered by a Fiat start-stop system. Outside, the 2013 Fiat Panda 4×4 offers two exterior color choices when the vehicles arrive in European dealerships, including Toscana Green Metallic and Sicilia Orange.

Available 15-inch alloy wheels and a MacPherson suspension as standard equipment on the 2013 Fiat Panda 4×4. The vehicle exterior equipped by a black exterior trim, new fog lamps and chunky door sills.

Inside, the new Panda 4×4 received some finishing touches on the vehicle interior which includes a dashboard with new green frame, door panel upholstery, remote central locking, rear headrests, more eco-leather, more storage space and MP3/CD player.

Prices have not been announced, but you can find information on pricing details when the new five-door hatchback made its debut at the 2012 Paris Auto Show in late September.

Meanwhile, the 2013 Fiat Panda 4×4 Release Date is expected to be set later this year and will go on sale early next year. Unfortunately, the new Panda 4×4 will not be sold to the U.S. market and is offered only for the European market.
